4 takeaways from the Jazz's Summer League performance thus far

After three summer league games, plenty has stood out about the Jazz, both good and bad.

4. Kenny Lofton Jr. is quite a treat to watch

For the record, no one is trying to mock the 2023 G-League Player of the Year. If anything, he's so fun to watch because of how good he is despite being a little heavy-set compared to most NBA players. Lofton has shown he can shoot, is an impressive athlete, and even has some passing abilities.

Lofton is fighting for his NBA career, so he is laying everything out on the line to ensure that, at the very least, he gets a training camp invite. Three games into the Summer League, it's hard to see why he wouldn't at least get a look from anyone looking for a young development project.

That may very well be the Jazz when it's all said and done since he was a late-season addition in 2024. Since the Jazz have the patience to see who fits in their next chapter and who doesn't, there's no reason to think they won't give Lofton a shot.
