3. Kyle Filipowski will need some time to make NBA transition

Filipowski definitely has a feel for basketball at a professional level. However, it's pretty clear he'll need some time to adjust to the NBA. For someone who came in hyped up to be a stretch big, his shot was not falling at all.

Perhaps that will come with more reps, and if it's any consolation, Filipowski's high basketball IQ was on display. He definitely has potential as a connector. It's just that many believe his game was NBA-ready, even if his ceiling isn't all too high. He didn't have the best start.

In Vegas, he'll get a better look, and hopefully with more familiarity with his teammates, he'll look more like the steal many believed the Jazz snared in the draft.
