4 low-value players the Jazz can sneakily acquire with their cap flexibility

With no free agent target in sight, the Jazz could use their cap flexibility on expendable players who won't hurt said flexibility in the long run.

Pat Connaughton - $9,423,869

Alright so, technically, Connaughton is not an expiring contract, as it extends into 2026. However, knowing his cheap contract and the NBA's expanding cap, it would hardly be any trouble for the Jazz to absorb that deal and worry about flexibility too much about the future.

After the offseason moves the Bucks made, Connaughton may be the odd man out. Adding Delon Wright, Taurean Prince, and Gary Trent Jr. also means adding players who play the same position as him. Connaughton's role has dwindled a tad with the Bucks, and adding players who play the same position as him

The Jazz would help the Bucks duck under the NBA's second tax apron if they took him off their salary cap. Besides that, they could help Connaughton restore his value. And how bad could it to add someone with championship experience to the team?
