Is Will Hardy the right coach of the team?

The Utah Jazz seem to have a direction in place, but will the future of the team include Will Hardy? It's fair to say that he's been wildly inconsistent this season, and downright stubborn. His choices as head coach were part of the reason why the team struggled out of the gate, as he forced Talen Horton-Tucker and Jordan Clarkson on the team as starters. The team tanked out of the gate and it wasn't until Collin Sexton and Kris Dunn were moved into the starting roles did the team turn things around.

We watched, for months, as Hardy made excuse after excuse for why his lineups were failing. Now, the Jazz are going into tank mode and are going to ask Hardy and his coaching staff to really up their contributions to the improvement of the team. The staff is going to be directly responsible for how the trio of rookies and guys Walker Kessler develops. Can Hardy get the most out of the young players? Well, we're going to find out down the stretch.

There's no word that he's on the hot seat but the winds of change in the NBA are blowing constantly and can change without warning. If there aren't improvements from the young players, on top of losing more than he's winning, it's possible that Hardy's done in Salt Lake City faster than anyone expected or hoped.
