The Utah Jazz have some decisions to make this offseason. They have to not only figure out what's going to happen with Lauri Markkanen, but they have to find some trade partners to better improve the roster and decide who among the pending free agents they should sign to new contracts.

It's not going to be easy to figure all that out, and it's going to take some time to get the dominos in order so that the best possible roster for the 2024-2025 season can come together. After all, Jazz CEO Danny Ainge said they're going big game hunting and that they're not looking at doing a full rebuild. If they fail to improve this roster to playoff levels, Ainge may not be around much longer.

It's probably part of the reason why he's gone on record saying he's going to try and land a big name or two for the Jazz this offseason. Doing so will require the Jazz to keep a roster around their pending new stars, and so they're going to have to figure some stuff out.

Namely, who's expendable for trade purposes, and who isn't? You're not going to keep a deep team if you trade for two major names, so you're going to have to look to the fringe players on the roster and give them some more trust and development. Hoping that maybe they can contribute going forward on a championship-caliber team.

So with in mind we're building for a winner, these are the three guys we think can help once the dust settles.
