#10 – Omer Yurtseven – would be exposed for the Expansion Draft

As the 3rd center on the Utah Jazz roster, Omer would be vulnerable, especially due to his short time with the team. It might come down to how well Kelly Olynyk plays as the backup this year – if Olynyk is deemed sufficient, then Omer is expendable. And with the high number of young players that the Utah Jazz want to keep, someone ends up exposed for other teams to take.

#9 – Brice Sensabaugh – would be exposed for the Expansion Draft

While the Utah Jazz want to keep as many of their young players as possible, the math points to some of them not making the cut. Simply, when they have multiple players who aren’t eligible for the expansion draft (Dunn, Olynyk, THT, Fontecchio, and Luka Samanic) it limits the options. Keyonte George and Taylor Hendricks would get protected over Brice Sensabaugh if the Jazz were forced to choose one of the rookies to leave open for this draft.
