The Schedule + The Division

In the NBA, it’s hard to say who will be good and who will be bad, because the teams all play one another. The teams they play the most are the ones from their own division and for the Jazz, they’re in for a tough go.

They have the Denver Nuggets, the reigning NBA Champions, then there’s the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team that could end up being a Top 4 seed in the NBA Western Conference this season. Then you have a fringe team like the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are capable of being in the playoffs if some things break their way. And lastly, the Portland Trail Blazers, who are in a rebuild, but may shock some people with how good they are.

Right now, for our money, the Utah Jazz are smack dab in the middle as the third-best team in the Northwest Division. They’ll play each of those four teams four times, for 16 games total. The last division game is April 9th against the Nuggets and while we don’t think the Jazz will win the division, we do think they can make some noise in it.
