The Utah Jazz would be wise to keep an eye on these three players.
The Utah Jazz are not a team that you should get used to. The roster is in a good place, but with the team possibly being in a state of flux this year, you shouldn’t get used to anyone. The Jazz are being directed now by former Boston Celtics executive, Danny Ainge, who is famous for making bold trades and stockpiling draft picks.
He’s started doing the same thing with the Jazz, helping them secure an immense amount of first-round draft picks. It’s possible that Ainge isn’t done either, as the roster still has some valuable pieces to it that could be dealt. On the flip side, Ainge could also take the assets he’s already acquired and try and land an NBA Superstar like Luka Doncic or Giannis Antetokounmpo.
So it’s fair to say that the roster is far from complete, or stable. There will be major moves still to come, but who gets dealt is up in the air. That uncertainty, plus the fact the point guard position is lacking a certified starter has made the possibility of trades even more likely.
That’s why the Jazz need to consider the guys on this list, as there are a few players who can help with either defense, the point guard spot, or even winning a title. The team isn’t so far away from competing that they shouldn’t be thinking about bringing in a major name to help the roster, but they aren’t so close that it’s the only direction they should consider.
So this is a list of three players we think could help the Jazz, no matter what direction they go in.
