Gabe Vincent

You can’t tell the story of the Miami Heat’s magical run to the NBA Finals without mentioning Gabe Vincent. The 26-year-old guard had the best season of his career with the Heat and has taken his game to another level in the NBA Playoffs. In the postseason, Vincent has averaged 13 points and four assists on 40 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s also been able to hold his own on the defensive end of the floor.

For any team that is looking for a point guard or even depth in the backcourt, it’s hard not to view Vincent as a possible target this offseason. Even more so considering that the Heat likely won’t be able to retain everyone this summer. As an unrestricted free agent, Vincent feels like a natural target for the Jazz.

However, it’s likely going to take a big offer to pry Vincent away from the Heat. He could potentially cost anywhere from $15 to $20 million per season. And if that ends up being the price tag, Utah should pass.

Vincent has probably earned that money, but as a non-star contributor, he doesn’t make much sense for the Jazz at this point.
