7 low-risk, high-reward trade targets for Utah Jazz this offseason
John Collins, Atlanta Hawks
As one of the more polarizing players on the Atlanta Hawks roster heading into the offseason, there’s a non-zero chance that they end up trading him over the next couple of months. And there will be a market for Collins. The Utah Jazz is a team that has had interest in Collins in the past, and it would be surprising if they didn’t at least register renewed interest in Collins if the Hawks look to rework the roster a lot this offseason.
Collins may be coming off the worst statistical season of his career since his rookie season, but he’s still just 25 years old and has a tremendous skill set. He seems to be over the Hawks and is a player in desperate need of a new start. The Jazz could be a place where Collins could revitalize his career.
With Lauri Markkanen, it may not be the most ideal of situations for Collins to step into, but at this point, he can’t be picky. And if the Jazz can figure out the right role for him, it’s a deal that they should consider. Especially considering that his trade value is probably at an all-time low right now.
