At this point in their respective rebuilds, it’s safe to say that the Orlando Magic are a little ahead of the Utah Jazz right now. And perhaps the Jazz could use that to their advantage in search for low-risk, high-reward trade targets. One player that the Magic could be looking to offload this offseason is Jonathan Isaac, a talented yet often-injured big man who hasn’t been able to find his stride in the NBA just yet.

Isaac has struggled with injuries for the majority of his career. He’s only played more than 60 games in a season once. He also missed two seasons in a row before returning to play in 11 games this past season. That said, he’s still just 25 years old, and while he may never reach the full potential he had coming out of college, with his skill set and size, he could still develop into a really good NBA player.

He doesn’t have a terribly expensive contract (due roughly $35 million over the next two seasons) and could come in and play a role and learn behind Lauri Markkanen.
