If the Golden State Warriors end up shopping Jonathan Kuminga this offseason, the Utah Jazz should sniff around to see what the supposed asking price would be. Even though he has shown some promising signs throughout the first two seasons of his career, it can’t be outlandishly high considering he hasn’t been able to break through into a consistent role in the rotation for the Warriors thus far.

Still, Kuminga is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 10 points per game on 52 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. Nevertheless, his raw and untapped talent should be something that a team like the Jazz should be very intrigued by. If the Warriors are going to be seeking veterans to help with their depth this offseason, you can’t help but wonder if they would be interested in a package centered around Kelly Olynyk and a future pick.

The Warriors would add some depth to their frontcourt and an asset that they could use down the line or now via trade. At the very least, it’s a conversation that could be had this offseason that would make sense for both teams on some level.
