8. Jeff Malone

Career numbers:18.5 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 1.9 APG, 279 GP.

Jeff Malone, despite being the other Malone in Utah Jazz history had an impressive four year stretch with the team, where he would be a fantastic role player for the Jazz, averaging an impressive 18.5 points per game. The 90’s were an incredibly tough time to succeed, as the Bulls, Pistons, Lakers and so many other teams were capable of going on a run, and while that never happened, Malone, along with Karl and John Stockton helped Utah become one of those top teams, as he was arguably one of the best No. 3 options in the league.

Malone is often forgotten due to the amount of big names the Jazz had through the late 80’s and early 90’s, but he played his role well, and any team in any era would love to have a player like this on their team. He never won awards or major accolades, but that’s the cost of being an unselfish role player, which Malone embraced and enjoyed, and even if the team couldn’t reach the mountain top, both Malone’s tried their best every day to represent Utah and help this team.
