2. Adrian Dantley

Career numbers: 29.6 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 3.7 APG, 461 GP, 6-time NBA All-Star, 2-time All-NBA selection, 1984 Comeback Player of the Year.

Adrian Dantley is perhaps one of the most underrated players in NBA history, and even though he’s best remembered for his Championship days as a member of the Detroit Pistons, he had an incredibly successful run in the 80’s with the Utah Jazz. Throughout his seven seasons, Dantley was an unstoppable scorer, with the size and athleticism to put the ball in the bucket at will, which he did for a stretch of four seasons where he averaged over 30 PPG.

If Dantley was around for the 90’s with Karl Malone and John Stockton, this team could have been unstoppable, because Adrian was effective in every phase of the game, but unfortunately, he never had the help around him to be a genuine Championship threat. Dantley is remembered fondly by Jazz fans, because his amazing seven year stretch with the team helped establish them after the struggles in New Orleans, but he should and will always be considered one of the best players to ever represent the franchise.
