Career numbers: 14 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 1.6 APG, 706 GP, NBA All-Rookie First Team (1984).

There seems to be a trend with Jazz players and historically being incredibly underrated, because Thurl Bailey is another one that could play in any era and have success, but he was one of the biggest reasons that the move from New Orleans to Utah became as successful as it ultimately did. Bailey has been just as successful since his career ended as he was during it, and he still works for the Utah Jazz organization, as a broadcast analyst for the team and the University of Utah, showing just how much his time in Salt Lake City meant to him.
