1. Karl Malone

Career numbers: 25.4 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1434 GP, 2-time NBA MVP, 14-time NBA All-Star, 14-time All-NBA selection, 4-time NBA All Defensive team.

This one is obvious, as the Mailman is regarded as either the best or second best player in Utah history, and his incredible 20-year journey with this team is something that all franchises are looking for in their draft picks. Not only was he a dominant individual force, but his combination with John Stockton was iconic, leading this Jazz team to 20 straight seasons of regular season success, making him one of the most iconic players the league has ever seen.

There’s been some great Jazz players over the years, but simply put, no one was as dominant and skilled as Malone, and even today, when you see the iconic purple jersey, the first player most think of is The Mailman. Off the court, the less said the better, but on the court, Karl was a fantastic player, and no matter how long the Jazz franchise lasts for, it’s going to be hard for anyone to end up as synonymous with the Jazz Note as the Mailman.
