4. Will Bojan Bogdanovic be in Utah for 2022/23?

On a playoff team with stars around him, Bojan Bogdanovic plays a perfect role: he’s an above average defender that can shoot the basketball well, and considering the Jazz aren’t going to be that in 2022, there’s just no reason for Utah to keep him around. He’s not going to fetch a haul for Utah, but given what they got in return for Royce O’Neale, there’s no reason that the Jazz shouldn’t be able to get a pick or a young player back from a contending team to add a tall, ‘3 and D’ wing like Bogdanovic.

Bojan is the type of player that could fit on any team, and given the amount of teams around the league right now that are ready to take the next step (Minnesota, Memphis, New Orleans, Atlanta, Cleveland etc.), there should definitely be a market for him once the Jazz finally do trade Donovan Mitchell. If Utah can’t add a young player to this squad, then a first round pick to add to their haul wouldn’t be surprising, and at this point, with the vision that Danny Ainge clearly has going forward, it’s best for both sides to split before the season begins, so expect to see a move shortly after a big Mitchell trade.
