5. Truck Robinson – 23.2 PPG

Truck Robinson may have only spent two seasons with the Jazz, in a time where the team was struggling mightily to make the playoffs, but in that brief stint, the impressive power forward showed why he was certainly worthy of being an All-Star. During that All-Star season, the first of many for Robinson, the star power forward averaged 22.7 PPG and 15.7 RPG, showcasing his skills on both ends of the floor, but at the time, the Jazz team surrounding him just wasn’t good enough.

Due to this, Robinson was moved after just a season with the Jazz to the Phoenix Suns, and while the tenure wasn’t very long for the Jazz, it was indeed remarkable, even if he is one of the most forgotten stars of the 70’s. During the 1978 season, Robinson logged an incredible 44.8 minutes per night for this Jazz team, as he was their primary, and sometimes only source of production, and if the Jazz could have kept him around and built a winner around the two-way force, we may see him as one of the greatest players in franchise history.
