9. Jeff Malone – 18.5 PPG

A lot of the Jazz top players in franchise history have been home grown, and have developed while in Utah (Gobert, Mitchell, Malone, Stockton etc.), but over the years, they’ve acquired several big names too, one of which was Jeff Malone, who averaged over 20 PPG for five seasons before being acquired by the Jazz when he was just 29-years of age. In his first year with the Jazz, Malone put up an impressive 18.6 PPG, and then followed that up a year later by putting up 20.2 PPG on 50% shooting from the field, making him, at the time, one of the best players the franchise had ever seen.

His next two seasons were solid, but definitely a step down from that early production, averaging 16 PPG, but with little talent around him, the Jazz had no choice but to trade him away to Philadelphia, in hopes of finding a talent for the future. His last name may now be synonymous with arguably the best player in Jazz franchise history, but during his brief time with the Jazz, he certainly made his mark on the hearts of Jazz fans, and on opposing teams too.
