2. Utah Jazz fans should keep an eye on Xavier Sneed

Many players will bounce around in their early basketball career, hoping to find a spot where they can establish themselves and call home, and after doing just that for the past two years, the Utah Jazz and Xavier Sneed hope he can settle in with the Jazz and make a name for himself as a scoring wing. The 6’5″, 215 pounder played four years at Kansas State, and it was his final season, in which he averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds a game that got him attention, and with consistent playing time, it’s believed he can replicate those type of numbers at the next level.

He will certainly need to improve from beyond the arc and with his efficiency, but he has all the physical makings of an NBA player, and with a two-way contract in Utah, it may be now or never for the 24-year old to make his mark and climb his way into the NBA.

Sneed appeared in seven games for the Jazz in 2021-22, and with the current uncertainty about which way this roster is headed, there’s certainly a possibility for him to step up and earn a place off the bench, especially if Utah are going to move some young pieces and draft picks to acquire a big name coming off the Rudy Gobert blockbuster trade.
