The beginning of the 2022 NBA pre-season is just days away, and aside from all the craziness going on with trades and free agency, there’s a lot for Utah Jazz fans to keep their eyes on. After the Gobert trade, and potential future trades involving that draft capital, the roster that the team will begin the 2022 NBA season with is unclear as of right now, but if the Jazz need some depth for the upcoming season, then there is plenty of potential on this Summer League roster.

Sure, there’s no big name player who is guaranteed a roster spot, but given some of the talented players we’ll see featured in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, there may be some roster spots up for grabs. Walker Kessler, a first round pick of Minnesota acquired in the Rudy Gobert trade hasn’t been announced for the Jazz Summer League squad, but if he is added, the former Auburn Tiger could be a standout, and would be the player to watch the most for Jazz fans. As of now however, his status for the NBA’s pre-season tournament is unclear.

While Jazz fans should all be paying close attention to the entire Summer League roster, as breakout performances happen all over the tournament, the following three players are the ones to pay closest attention too.
