The Utah Jazz are following up their uneventful draft by continuing to add names to their Summer League roster, and while they didn’t make any splashy moves to get back into the draft, the young players they are adding certainly have the potential to be good players in the near future. The biggest name is UCLA’s Johnny Juzang, who was added immediately following the NBA draft, but since that point, he’s been joined by several talented names, and it should have Jazz fans excited to see this young squad, as many of the names could become depth pieces for this team over the next year or two.
Salt Lake City Summer League takes place from July 5-7, with the Jazz being joined by Memphis, Oklahoma City and Philadelphia, before all the teams join the rest of the NBA in Las Vegas from July 7-17, and with so many roster spots available, the Jazz have been proactive in adding high potential names.
You’re likely not going to see many of these win starring roles for this team in the upcoming 2022/23 NBA season, but if they can impress Danny Ainge and the front office enough, there’s no doubting that we could be seeing some of these names play key parts for this Jazz team as they look to take the next step over the next few years.
