4 ways the Utah Jazz could rebuild this summer
Utah Jazz offseason Plan D: Blow it up
You’ve got to know when to hold them, and know when to fold them. If the Utah Jazz are disappointing enough this offseason, they may have to do the latter.
Plan C is intriguing, but it could be accused of being a half measure. Some may prefer for the Jazz to either go all-in, or pull all-out.
If that’s how you feel, Plan D is the plan for you.
We’re not going to bother with hypothetical deals here. The Jazz could entertain the same deal from the Heat and also see if the Knicks are willing to offer something better. In any event, they’ll be auctioning off Mitchell, Gobert and the rest of their veterans for as many draft picks and young players as possible.
If the thought makes you nauseated, we recommend not thinking too much about it. If the Jazz can get their act together, you don’t have to worry.
If they don’t, on the other hand, you may have to brace yourself for some difficult goodbyes. These Utah Jazz are on the cusp of one of two things: either greatness, or destruction.
