After a concerning stretch of the season, the Utah Jazz appear to be back in fine form. Winners of 5 of their last 6 contests, it appears as if this team is every bit the contender we thought they were if their key players are available.

The NBA’s schedule gods have rewarded the suddenly surging Jazz with a soft March. As long as the injury gods are willing to cooperate, the team should come away with a lot of wins next month.

Of course, they may not. Predictions are a fool’s endeavor in the NBA. There are so many unpredictable variables that could change the outcome of these games.

Consider us fools. Here are our win or loss predictions for every Utah Jazz game in March.

March 2nd: Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets

Rockets rookie Jalen Green is starting to turn a corner. Assuming, that is, that we’re not factoring the dunk contest into our performance. The sensational freshman is averaging 17.2 points per game in February while shooting 48% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range.

The future looks bright in Space City. No matter. It’s the present that’s shining in Salt Lake City. We all know the Jazz shouldn’t have any difficulty with this matchup.

March 4th: Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans have been without their most important player for this entire 2021-22 season. If recent rumors have any substance, they may be without him for longer than that.

The Jazz have had their own complaints to make about injuries this season, but they haven’t had their franchise player on the shelves all season long. As a fellow small market team, they should sympathize.

Just not enough to refrain from laying a beatdown on the Pelicans on the 4th.

Prediction: W
