Reason to believe in the Utah Jazz #3: Winning cures all

If you’re concerned about reports of tensions between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, you’re not alone.

Where there’s this much smoke, there’s usually fire. These rumors have been so prevalent for so long that we’re forced to conclude that there’s some truth in them.

What if they just don’t matter?

As the cliche goes, most cliches are born out of truth. Winning cures all in the National Basketball Association.

Can you think of another off-guard/center duo that didn’t get along despite being teammates? We’ll wait…

Did you say Shaquille O’Neal and the late, great Kobe Bryant?

Of course, Mitchell and Gobert have a ways to go before they earn any other comparisons to that elite pairing. If they can get there together, any grievances between the two will probably be put to the side.

There’s a lot of pressure on these Jazzmen this season. Regular season dominance won’t satisfy critics. They need to show that they’re built for the playoffs.

Until that opportunity comes, we think the Utah Jazz will be just fine. They’re on a six-game winning streak, and showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
