Utah Jazz dud: Bojan Bogdanovic
Close followers of the Utah Jazz would probably not use the word “consistent” to describe Bojan Bogdanovic. It often feels as if the Bogeyman is only capable of delivering a star caliber performance, or a benchwarmer’s output.
Last night was a case of the latter. Bogdanovic finished with 7 points on 2/12 shooting and 1/7 shooting from three-point range.
It’s probably a consequence of his role. Bogdanovic’s ability to hit tough shots is integral to this team’s system. Tough shot makers are bound to have these nights.
He simply could not get his shot to fall last night. His shot selection was mostly fair, but there were moments throughout the game where he appeared to be forcing the matter. He deserves credit for trying to catch his rhythm, but it has to be acknowledged that he could not.
Not that it particularly matters. The Utah Jazz walked away with their fifth victory in a row. They’ll aim for number six against a struggling Houston Rockets club on Valentine’s Day.
