Utah Jazz stud: Bojan Bogdanovic
Bojan Bogdanovic’s inconsistent rebounding is a bit of an odd quirk. On the season, he’s averaging 4.3 boards per game. Last night, he hauled in 11.
That’s something he occasionally does. When it happens, it’s icing on the cake. The cake, of course, being Bogey’s elite floor spacing.
Last night, that was on full display as well.
The Croatian sharpshooter finished this game with 19 points while shooting 8/14 from the field and 3/7 from downtown. Bogdanovic is a high-level complementary offensive player. He thrives alongside a primary ball-handler.
Enter Donovan Mitchell. The Jazz’s entire dynamic appeared to be back on track last night, and Bogdanovic was the primary benefactor. All of which begs a question: is it possible that all the Jazz need is good health?
It’s starting to feel like this recent stretch of bad Utah Jazz play can be chalked up to circumstance. It’s hard to get a rhythm with your best players frequently on the sidelines. Hopefully, last night’s performance was an indication of better days to come.
