Utah Jazz dud: Bojan Bogdanovic

If Clarkson wasn’t going to make up Mitchell’s production, Quin Snyder must have hoped that Bojan Bogdanovic would be up to the task.

He was not. Bogey finished this game with 13 points as well, shooting 5/16 from the field and a ghastly 1/9 from three-point range.

When Bogdanovic isn’t draining threes and generating open looks, he’s usually doing little else. He contributed 2 rebounds and an assist in addition to his modest points total.

Bogdanovic has been prone to heroics during an otherwise unimpressive stretch of Jazz basketball. He deserves tremendous credit for several big time performances in the absence of his starrier teammates. Last night, he was simply unable to deliver one.

Utah Jazz fans probably did not expect a victory against the Memphis Grizzlies. Without either of Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell, that was probably too tall of an order. Hopefully, at least one of their injured stars will be available for their next contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow.
