Utah Jazz vs Toronto Raptors odds, starters, injury reports, predictions
Yesterday, we said that Utah Jazz might be the unluckiest team in the NBA. That suggestion had nothing to do with roster availability. We apologize if we somehow shifted the universe’s karmic balance.
The injury report does not look good for the Jazz (28-10) tonight. Rudy Gobert is in health and safety protocols. Joe Ingles will be joining him there. Donovan Mitchell will resume resting his lower back injury. Mike Conley has a bum knee, Bojan Bogdanovic has a bum finger. Rudy Gay, Jordan Clarkson, Royce O’Neale and Hassan Whiteside are all questionable with various ailments.
Meanwhile, the Raptors (18-17) are on a four game winning streak. The Utah Jazz would need a miracle to come out on top in this contest.

Look for Quin Snyder to deploy his usual starting lineup of…
Sorry, force of habit.
The Jazzmen are likely to start a lineup of Jordan Clarkson, Jared Butler, Rudy Gay, Eric Paschall and Udoka Azubuike in this contest.
Utah Jazz Injury Report
We basically already covered this in the preamble, but we’ll reiterate. Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles are in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Donovan Mitchell is out with a lower back injury. Mike Conley has a knee injury, Bojan Bogdanovic has a finger injury. Hassan Whiteside is questionable in concussion protocols. Jordan Clarkson (back) Royce O’Neale (knee) and Rudy Gay (heel) are all questionable as well.
Yikes.
Utah Jazz vs Toronto Raptors Prediction
There really isn’t much to say here. The Toronto Raptors can hardly even claim to be playing the Utah Jazz in this contest. Jazz fans may want to find another leisure activity tonight. Although, it should be fun to see Jared Butler get this opportunity. He’s been effective in limited minutes, and he’ll get an extended nod tonight.
If he’s able to carry the Jazz past the Raptors, Danny Ainge may want to look into trading him for Pascal Siakam and a first round pick.
Prediction: Raptors 120, Jazz 102

Utah Jazz Schedule and Next Game
Hopefully, the Jazz can get most of their key players back as soon as possible. They’ve got a date with the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
After that, they’ll get a much needed day’s rest before a bout with the Detroit Pistons on the road. They’ll then return home to host the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 12. They play the Denver Nuggets on January 16, and the Los Angeles Lakers on January 18.
