Following their heartbreaking 119-118 loss at home to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, the Utah Jazz will be away from home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.

Before the defeat at the hands of Memphis, Utah was riding a three-game win streak with home victories over the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors plus Saturday night’s road victory over the Sacramento Kings. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City has dropped three straight games, all on the road, against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Atlanta Hawks.

The Jazz (11-6) enter the contest at No. 3 in the Western Conference, 4.0 games back of the first-place Golden State Warriors. As for the Thunder (6-11), they sit No. 11 in the West.

Utah Jazz Injury Report

At the moment, there are no lingering injuries to speak of to report for the Jazz. No, the team’s entire regular rotation should be in action against the Thunder.

Utah Jazz vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction

The Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle injury) for the second game in a row. Even with the star guard’s services, Oklahoma City is arguably the worst offensive team in the NBA this season, averaging a league-low 98.7 points per game.

And although the Thunder defense is respectable, they should have a difficult time slowing down a Jazz squad that ranks No. 2 in the NBA with its 112.5 points per game.

Wednesday night will be the second of four scheduled meetings between Utah and Oklahoma City. The first was the season opener for both sides, a 107-86 Jazz win in Salt Lake City.

Expect the score to be in that same ballpark this go-round.

Prediction: Jazz 110, Thunder 93
