Chances are some young Utah Jazz players won’t make the opening day roster.

With the NBA Summer League coming to a close and free agent transactions beginning to slow down, we now have a good idea of what the Utah Jazz training camp will look like. With new additions of veterans Rudy Gay, Eric Paschall, and Hassan Whiteside, the younger Jazzmen will have to battle it out for the spots at the end of the bench.

Utah is looking to improve after last season’s second-round exit. And while every player currently on the roster has shown flashes, the front office will have to stick with the players who fill their most glaring needs.

These decisions are never easy for coaches and general managers to make.
