Utah Jazz: 5 best memories in the City Edition uniforms

Ricky Rubio’s Game 3 Performance in 2018
Game 3 between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs was as loud as I’ve ever heard Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Jazz put shirts on each seat in the arena, which is normal, but they put multiple different colored shirts that matched their City Edition uniforms.
That made the atmosphere a lot cooler. It had to have been intimidating looking around the arena and seeing all those colors surrounding you. It was loud. Ricky Rubio had a huge performance for the Jazz, which helped them take a 2-1 series lead.
Rubio triple-doubled with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He dominated and clearly had it going. This was huge for Game 4, too. Russell Westbrook was too focused on trying to shut down Rubio in Game 4, which helped the Jazz grab another win and take the 3-1 series lead.
The City Edition jerseys have treated the Utah Jazz well over the last three years. I’m going to miss them, but I am excited to see something new next season. It’ll be interesting to see what direction they go in. Let’s hope that they are as awesome as these jerseys!
