The 10-game winning streak

The Utah Jazz acquired Jordan Clarkson from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a trade right before Christmas. He made his debut with the team on the 26th of December against the Blazers. After acquiring Clarkson, the Jazz would go on to win ten straight games.

While the schedule did lighten up significantly, giving the Jazz easy opportunities against teams like the Pistons, Knicks, Hornets (2x) and Wizards, racking up 10 straight wins is no easy task. The Jazz flat out looked dominant during this stretch.

It was the Jazz team that a lot of us were expecting going into the season. When this team is clicking, like they were during the 10-game winning streak, they have a unique combination of offense and defense that makes them incredibly difficult to slow down.

Even after the streak ended, the Jazz would go on to win four in a row before hitting one of those rough patches. I wish we could have seen more of this version of the Jazz, but it’s a long season filled with ups-and-downs.

If you’re going to re-watch some Utah Jazz games from this season, I’d recommend some games from this stretch. While a lot of these games were blowouts, they showed how dominant the Jazz can be.
