Final Grade: A-

Utah Jazz rookie Jarrell Brantley finishes up his G-League season with an A- grade. Brantley was awesome, ending up with a lot more good moments than bad moments. He looks like he could soon be a contributor to the Jazz rotation.

It would have been really fun seeing where Brantley could have taken this team, but due to the unfortunate circumstances, we’ll never know. In the end, it was a really promising start to what I expect to be a long career in the NBA for Brantley.

If the NBA season does pick back up, don’t expect to see much of Brantley. He wasn’t a part of Utah’s rotation at all this season. His development in the G-League, not the NBA, was the top priority.

Hopefully we’ll get a closer look at Brantley during the 2020-21 NBA season. His play in the G-League may give the Jazz front office something to think about when it comes to rotations next season.

Jarrell Brantley might just be the diamond in the rough that many Utah Jazz fans saw during Summer League. His game continues to expand and it’s only a matter of time before he’s on an NBA floor consistently.
