Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell has been on a tear lately for the Utah Jazz, playing some of the best basketball of his career. One of his best performances came from last month’s loss vs Boston, where he had 37 points in front of ESPN viewers.

Mitchell has kept his foot on the gas and has been dominant offensively for the Jazz. He’s almost up to the 25 point per game mark and is playing a much smarter brand of basketball. He’s getting to the rim more often and isn’t forcing the issue.

As The J-Notes Contributor, Tommy Johnson, wrote in his latest piece, Mitchell’s aggressive play means a lot to the Jazz. Seeing him get to the rim more often and earn free-throws has been a welcome sign.

Let’s hope he keeps up this aggressive play and attacks the basket like he did against Boston the last time out. Mitchell was ruthlessly attacking the switch in a pick-and-roll and it did wonders. Boston doesn’t protect the rim as well as other teams, so the opportunity will be there.

Next. Utah Jazz great in spurts, need to improve throughout. dark

So, those are three players that you should be sure to watch closely during tonight’s game. Tip-off is at 6:00 MT and the Jazz will be in their Icon uniforms. Go Jazz and let’s get this fourth straight win!
