Bojan Bogdanovic puts an end to his shooting slump

In the five games following the All-Star break, Bojan Bogdanovic shot a combined 18-58 from the field. That’s 31 percent. From three-point range, he was 7-26. That’s 27 percent.

We have not seen Bogdanovic struggle like this in a Utah Jazz uniform, but it appears that his struggles won’t last long. He balled out against the Cavaliers, finishing with a team-high 28 points to go with five three-pointers.

Bogdanovic did his scoring efficiently (10-19) and also did a good job with his all-around game. He chipped in seven rebounds and six assists in the winning effort. Overall, this was by far the best game Bogdanovic has played since the All-Star break.

He’s such a crucial piece to Utah’s offense, and it’s fair to say that whenever Bogdanovic struggles, the Jazz struggle as well. His spacing, gravity, ball handling, finishing and shooting open up the offense for everyone else.

Let’s hope Bogdanovic can continue this level of play for the remainder of the season and going into the playoffs. He’s been a consistent 20+ scorer and the Jazz need him at a high level if they hope to achieve their goals.

Rudy Gobert was the best player on the court last night, but Bojan Bogdanovic was a close second. He has been phenomenal for the Utah Jazz.
