Three-Point Contest 1998 – Jeff Hornacek

In a field that featured legendary sharpshooter Reggie Miller, Jeff Hornacek outlasted three rounds — yes, the three-point contest used to have three rounds — eight other participants to win the 1998 shootout competition. Facing off against Hubert Davis in the final round, Hornacek scored 16 points, easily beating Davis’ 10.

Three-Point Contest 2000 – Jeff Hornacek

The NBA didn’t host a 1999 All-Star Weekend do to a league-wide lockout, so Hornacek was technically a back-to-back three-point contest champion. The 2000 version of the competition had just two rounds. The eight competitors featured the likes of Allen Iverson, Dirk Nowitzki, Ray Allen, and Hornacek’s former final-round-foe, Hubert Davis.

Nowitzki, Allen, and Hornacek faced each other in the last round, with Hornaceck beating both, depsite just scoring 13 points — Nowitzki had 11 and Allen had 10.
