Team LeBron (No. 1) – Anthony Davis
Well, we all know who LeBron is going to go with his first overall pick — his fellow Laker Anthony Davis.
Both LeBron and Davis have been incredible this season for the Lakers. Davis, who was traded to Los Angeles from New Orleans over the summer, has given LeBron his best teammate in some time, both on and off the floor.
Davis will be in contention for the Most Valuable Player of the Year Award, as well as the Defensive Player of the Year Award. He boosts averages of 26.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 34.6 minutes.
Team Giannis (No. 2) – Luka Dončić
Dallas already has a superstar in 21 year old Luka Dončić. The sophomore guard has been incredible this season, earning himself a starting nod in the All-Star game.
I can easily see Giannis going with another International player with his first pick. Plus, being in opposite conferences, these two elite talents don’t see each other very much. They are both set to be the faces of the NBA over the next 10 years, and this could be our first chance to see them playing together.
This season, Dončić is averaging a whopping 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 32.8 minutes, leading the Mavericks to a 31-19 record in the incredibly difficult Western Conference.
