The latest episode of The J-Notes Blast Podcast breaks down all the Utah Jazz preseason excitement including their recent win over Adelaide.

The long-awaited 2019-20 Utah Jazz season is finally underway! OK, sure, it’s only preseason, but that doesn’t mean fans should be any less excited. Arguably the most talented Jazz team since the NBA Finals squads of nearly two decades ago is suiting up for actual 5-on-5 competition, so that’s about as much reason to be stoked as I can think of.

With preseason upon us, today’s episode of The J-Notes Blast Podcast will focus exclusively on some reactions from all the preseason excitement surrounding the team, including media day, training camp and the first preseason victory over the Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s NBL.

Fellow J-Note site expert Ryan Aston joins the show to discuss the following three points:

  • Point 1 – Thoughts/Impressions from media day/training camp
  • Point 2 – Reactions to preseason victory over Adelaide
  • Point 3 – Under the radar aspects of 2019-20 season we’re excited for

The third point is perhaps the most unique as Ryan and I momentarily ignore some of the upcoming season’s biggest story lines such as the growth of Donovan Mitchell, the additions of Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic, and the overall chemistry to instead look at some less heralded topics that could determine this team’s fate.
