The J-Notes Blast Podcast returns keeping you up to speed on all things relating to Utah Jazz summer hoops news and some thoughts about Dante Exum!

We’re drawing ever closer to the start of the 2019-20 Utah Jazz season, and the ample amount of exciting things going on this summer has made time pass all the more rapidly. Between Donovan Mitchell playing for Team USA, Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert suiting up for Australia and France, respectively, in preparation for FIBA play, and former Jazzmen Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson tearing it up in the BIG3, there’s been a lot of Jazz excitement to keep tabs on.

And that’s exactly what will be discussed in Point 1 of this episode as I preview the upcoming BIG3 Championship and talk about what’s happened and what lies ahead for Mitchell and Team USA.

For Point 2, focus will shift entirely back to the current Utah Jazz as I dive in to three things I like about their upcoming 2019-20 schedule and three things I don’t like. Spoiler alert: it’s far better than we’ve seen the past two years so that’s great news.

Finally, for Point 3, I’ll actually dive into a topic that sort of came out of left field. I’ll be chatting about Dante Exum and my thoughts and impressions on him for the upcoming season. Let’s just say I get pretty passionate about some expectations surrounding him, and my belief in Exum is still alive and well.
