The latest episode of The J-Notes Blast Podcast features Memphis Grizzlies expert Christian Dudley who speaks on the additions of Mike Conley and Jeff  Green to the Utah Jazz!

The most exciting move the Utah Jazz made this summer was the addition of Mike Conley. The long-time face of the Memphis Grizzlies franchise will be a thrilling new addition to a Jazz team that figures to be in the running for an NBA Championship in the 2019-20 season.

But in order to get to know him more, we’ve invited Memphis Grizzlies expert Christian Dudley to join the show and speak to us a little further about who Mike Conley really is and what he’ll bring to the Jazz. Christian is a contributor for FanSided’s Beale Street Bears covering the Memphis Grizzlies and has been a long-time follower and writer of both the Grizzlies and NBA as a whole.

Beyond speaking about Conley, we also discuss one of Utah’s free agent additions this summer Jeff Green, who was a teammate of Conley’s in both the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. Green was added on a minimum contract this summer, and this show provides some excellent insight on what the realistic expectations should be for the Jazz newcomer.

Last of all, after diving into these additions, both Christian and I make our predictions on just how far the Jazz can go next season. With all the changes they made as well as all the shifts throughout the Western Conference, they’ll be facing a lot of competition to go along with heightened expectations.
