Bojan Bogdanovic – Reliability

Behind the quiet demeanor and reserved personality of Bojan Bogdanovic actually resides the basketball mentality of an absolute assassin. Unassuming though he may appear, Bogdanovic can be about as deadly as they come on the basketball court as a prolific shooter with a variety of offensive weapons – even more than he gets credited for.

But the unique aspect that Bogey will bring to the Jazz, beyond his prolific three-point percentage, is his absolute reliability in multiple ways. The first way that Bogey is reliable is just in being a constant and durable presence. In the last three seasons, Bogdanovic has missed just four games, nearly all of which were for resting purposes requested by the team, not his own choice.

In fact, if it were up to Bojan, he’d probably never miss a game nor a practice. He’s an old-school guy who simply wants to go to work. He loves the game of basketball and is ever determined to sharpen his craft. Participating in as many games and practices as he can is his form of ‘just doing his job’ and performing at the highest level possible. Remarkably, the fewest games he’s ever played in an NBA season is 78.

Not only that, but Bogey’s work ethic and hustle are also about as reliable as they come. If he’s on the floor, you can one hundred percent bet that he’s giving his all every single time. He’s a guy who never takes a play off, never lets a poor call or unfortunate bounce distract him or make him hang his head, and never shows up unprepared.

In short, he’s someone who’s always ready to perform. That mentality and work ethic that he’ll bring to the Jazz will be wonderful for the team culture. For the most part, the Jazz are already known for those things. But having an excellent example like Bogdanovic who can always be relied on to play his hardest and show up for every second of every game and practice will be a great trait to have rub off on the entire team.

Between durability, unmatched effort and consistent performances, Bojan is about as reliable as they come. For a Jazz team that has had several up-and-down roller coaster moments the past few seasons, that stability will be a much-needed trait.
