Each new member of the Utah Jazz will bring unique traits that should enhance the team’s chemistry and take them to an all-new level.

The Utah Jazz have undergone one of, if not the best offseason in the organization’s history. By trading for Mike Conley, landing a prolific free agent in Bojan Bogdanovic, then rounding out the roster with a slew of formidable role players, they’ve taken a major leap in terms of talent, and look poised to compete with absolutely anybody in the NBA.

I recently described some impressive stats that jumped out about each new Jazzman that helped encapsulate some of the promising characteristics that each individual player will bring to the team. But all of them will also bring an impact outside of what appears in a box score, and that’s exactly what I intend to cover today.

We all know that Conley is a prolific floor general, that Bogdanovic is a deadly three-point shooter and that Ed Davis can rebound with the best of them, but beyond those numbers each new Jazz acquisition possesses intangible traits that will almost certainly make the team better as well.

We’ve seen the past few seasons how important personality, chemistry and cooperation have been for a Jazz team that has managed to put out a group whose whole is far superior than the sum of its parts. That has had to do with having a roster full of high-character guys who go about their business the right way and all bring about unique qualities to enhance the team.

And the good news is that that trend is very much likely to continue as each newcomer has a trait of his own that’s bound to make a difference. As such, let’s dive in and observe what they bring to the table, beginning with Utah’s leader at the point guard spot.
