Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder and Grayson Allen

In order to get Conley to Salt Lake City, the Jazz had to part with multiple key players from last season’s squad….and Grayson Allen. In reality, though, Allen and the multiple first-round picks the Jazz dealt to complete the trade were the key assets acquired by Memphis Grizzlies.

For now, Crowder is in Memphis and has said that he’d like to stay there and help the team rebuild with Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant. However, he’s probably a top candidate to get moved to a contender sometime between now and the trade deadline in February 2020.

Korver has already come and gone. The Grizz dealt him to the Phoenix Suns along with Jevon Carter for Josh Jackson, De’Anthony Melton and a second-round pick, all nice pieces for the suddenly young/developing Grizz.

Allen holds the same appeal; he has yet to really show what he can do as an NBA player due to his limited run while in a Jazz uniform.

Anyway, Phoenix waived Korver shortly after acquiring him. The sharpshooter will likely sign with a contending team in the coming weeks; keep your eye on teams like the Sixers, LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Yuck.
