Reggie Bullock

After a big of a breakout with the Pistons and LA Lakers last year, one could point to Reggie Bullock as the textbook example of what the Jazz will be looking for in free agency.

He’s big and long as a 2/3 (6-foot-7 with a 6-foot-10 wingspan), he can score the basketball (11.3 points per game last season) and he’s been a consistent 3-point shooter over the course of his career, knocking down over 39 percent from behind the arc.

Bullock is particularly good above the break on the left side of the floor, where he eclipsed league average by nearly 10 percentage points.

The 28-year-old is so good, in fact, that he may ultimately be just out of the Jazz’s price range with the room exception. Like Muscala, Bullock is probably a player the Lake Show wants to keep in La-La Land, too.

The rub with Bullock comes on the defensive end, but he remains a high-level guy on a second unit and he would definitely help the Jazz if they could make a legitimate play for him. Again, though, he’s unrestricted and could be in-line for a bigger raise than the Jazz can afford.
