Jeff Green

Say what you will about Jeff Green — the fact remains that, even as he approaches the age of 33, the former top-five pick still knows how to get buckets.

Playing for a mediocre Washington Wizards team last season, Green started in 44 of his 77 games, logged the best effective field goal percentage of his career and put up 12 points and four boards per contest.

As relates to the Jazz, he still has some get up and go offensively (despite being in the twilight of his career) that the team could use in the second unit. He may even be a guy who can fill in as a starter for Favors or Joe Ingles at times. And, while defense was never his strong suit, he does have positional versatility as a 3/4.

He also offers a veteran presence and playoff experience.

The 6-foot-9 forward will be an unrestricted free agent, but there’s a chance he could be acquired for just a portion of the mid-level exception available to the Jazz.
