Trevor Booker

Who better to close out the list than a sentimental favorite in Trevor Booker?

Like the aforementioned Crowder and Carroll, Booker was a fan favorite during his short time in the 801. And he became one with gritty play, aggression on the court and the occasional burst of offensive firepower.

Don’t hit me too hard for this one, but he’s always felt like a poor man’s Draymond Green to me. The Jazz could use that kind of player at the end of their bench, and Booker comes with the added bonus of having played with the Jazz in Coach Snyder’s system previously and being chummy with several players still on the roster.

After having a career year in his first post-Jazz year, Booker bounced around the league in 2017-18 and eventually found his way to China last season. He seemed like a shoe-in to catch on with an NBA team after the CBA season ended, but an early toe injury stopped that plan in its tracks.

Nevertheless, he’s only two years removed from playing the best ball of his life, still has tread on his tires at 31 and is intent on returning to the Association this summer. So, how about we get the Good Book back in our library?
