Khris Middleton

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently one of the best teams in the entire NBA. And if they can make it happen, they’ll likely do all they can to retain Khris Middleton. That said, Middleton is an unrestricted free agent and considering that Milwaukee could very well attempt to throw themselves into the Anthony Davis sweepstakes, there’s no telling just what kinds of changes the roster could undergo.

As such, Utah should make a hard push for Middleton as his All-Star caliber scoring abilities and capable defense would be well utilized in Salt Lake City. Middleton’s ability to create a shot and spread the floor as a dangerous stretch-four option would work wonders in Quin Snyder’s offense that has long been craving a forward of his skill set.

Middleton’s scoring is down somewhat this season, but that has a lot more to say about the dominance of Giannis Antetokounmpo than it does about Khris himself. He’s stepped up and proven his worth on several occasions this season and would very well continue to blossom into a bona fide star with the Jazz.

He’ll be a hard get, make no mistake about it. And I’d honestly be surprised to see him leave a favorable situation in Milwaukee. But nevertheless he figures to be near the top of Utah’s wish list, and for good reason.
