Tier 3

Terry Rozier

We’ll breeze through the Tier 3 candidates a bit quicker as there’s certainly some risk involved, but these promising role players or helpful glue guys – while they won’t be as sought after as the previous eight players – would certainly be interesting targets for the Jazz. The first of which I have in mind is Terry Rozier.

Unfortunately for Scary Terry, with the return of Kyrie Irving this season, his opportunity has diminished and he hasn’t looked nearly as formidable as he did in the postseason a year ago. Rozier’s efficiency is a huge question mark that would have to be weighed and measured, but his energy, tenacity and the potential he’s shown as a scorer and floor general could very well be worth taking a flier on.

He is a restricted free agent, meaning he won’t necessarily be readily available, but depending what happens with the Boston Celtics this summer and their presumed pursuit of Anthony Davis, Rozier could very well be an odd man out that certainly provides intrigue and upside as a free agent target.
