Kyle O’Quinn

For a Jazz squad that’s all about giving their all and chemistry on and off the floor, Kyle O’Quinn feels like he was tailor-made for a stint in Utah.

O’Quinn’s motor rates with the best in the Association. He’s the kind of player that will get onto the floor, fight for loose balls and thrill the crowd with weak-side blocks. Per 36 minutes, he’s averaged nearly three blocks over the last three seasons.

That’s what you get when you combine maximum effort with a massive 7-foot-5 wingspan.

He’s got offensive skills to boot; big man passing ability, put-back dunks and mid-range Js are his thing. Over his seven-year career, he’s hit on 47 percent of his attempts from 10 to 16 feet from the hoop. O’Quinn’s also as jovial a guy as you’ll find in the Association; a true character that would make a nice addition to the Jazz locker room.

Per Yahoo! Sports’ Keith Smith, the Pacers could deal him for a wing with size. Thabo Sefolosha could fit the bill there.
